Winter's Golden Hour

Sometimes it is good to explore within a theme you wouldn't usually be working towards. Also it can be interesting to limit yourself with colour, focusing on difference with texture instead.

This really isn’t the painting I expected but I do love it all the same.

Where I dreamt of Norwegian winters, skiing and in the snowy woods, I ended up with something that takes me to the sea, still with wonderful memories of course, just not what I expected.
